The Causes section in the Benevolence theme Customizer contains 6 options. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Theme Options → Causes to access these settings.

Options

• Causes Custom Post Type (On/Off) — Enable or disable the Causes post type.
• Pledges Custom Post Type (On/Off) — Enable or disable the Pledges post type.
• Excerpt Limit (List) (Number) — Words to display in cause excerpts (list template).
• Excerpt Limit (Grid) (Number) — Words to display in cause excerpts (grid template).
• Causes Per Page (Number) — Number of causes to display per page.
• Taxonomy Template (Select) — Choose list or grid layout for cause category archives.

After making changes, click Publish at the top of the Customizer to save your settings.
