Projects are a custom post type for showcasing your organization’s ongoing and completed work. Each project can have a status indicator and be organized by categories.
The Projects Screen
Navigate to Projects in the WordPress admin sidebar to see all your projects. The screen works like the standard Posts screen — you can edit, delete, or view individual projects using the links under each title. Use Quick Edit for fast inline changes, or Bulk Actions to update multiple items at once.
Organizing with Categories
Projects have their own category taxonomy. Go to Projects → Categories to create and manage categories. Assign categories when editing individual projects to keep your content organized.
Displaying Projects on a Page
To create a page that lists your projects:
- Go to Pages → Add New.
- Give the page a title (e.g., “Projects”).
- In the Page Attributes panel, select the Projects template.
- Save the page — the archive options will appear below the editor.
Archive Options
- Category — Filter to show projects from a specific category only.
- Number of Columns — Choose 1, 2, 3, or 4 column layout.
- Posts per Page — Set how many projects to display per page (1–100, default: 9).
