The Biosphere homepage slider displays rotating slides with images, text, and call-to-action buttons. Slides can link to causes with donation progress or to any custom URL.

Adding a New Slide

Go to Slides → Add New Slide in the WordPress admin.

Slide Fields

• Title — The slide heading text.
• Excerpt — The slide description text.
• Slide Image — The background image for the slide. Use a high-resolution, wide image.
• Align the Box — Position the text overlay on the Left or Right side of the slide.
• Slider Type — Choose between:
  • Standard Slider — Links to any URL with a custom button.
  • Cause Slider — Links to a specific cause and displays its donation progress bar.

Standard Slider Options

• Action Button Text — The call-to-action button label.
• Action Button URL — Where the button links to.

Cause Slider Options

• Select a Cause — Choose which cause to feature. The donation progress bar will display automatically.
• Action Button Text — The donate button label.
• Action Button URL — The donation page link.

Displaying the Slider

The slider automatically appears on the Homepage template. Make sure your homepage is set to a page using the Homepage template in Page Attributes.

You can also configure autoslide in Appearance → Customize → Slider Settings.
