The Biosphere theme provides a page template to display your events on the front end.
Setting Up a Events Page
- Go to Pages → Add New and create a new page.
- Give it a title (e.g., “Our Events” or “Events”).
- In Page Attributes, select the Events template.
- Publish the page.
- The archive options (category filter, columns, items per page) appear below the editor after saving.
Single Event Page
When a visitor clicks on a event, they see the single event page. This page displays the title, featured image, content, and the event options you configured (sidebar, info box, etc.).
Customizer Options
You can change the URL slug and labels for events in Appearance → Customize → Events Settings. After changing URL rewrites, go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes to flush the rewrite rules.
