To function, WooCommerce requires the creation of a few pages, as well as other information required to run a store. This is done using the WooCommerce Setup Wizard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WooCommerce Setup Wizard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After activating the WooCommerce plugin, you will be redirected to the Setup Wizard. This guide walks you through the essential settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Store Details<\/strong> \u2014 Enter your store address, currency, and the types of products you plan to sell.<\/li>
  2. Industry<\/strong> \u2014 Select your store’s industry to help WooCommerce tailor the setup.<\/li>
  3. Product Types<\/strong> \u2014 Choose what types of products you sell (physical, digital, or subscriptions).<\/li>
  4. Business Details<\/strong> \u2014 Provide information about your business size and current setup.<\/li>
  5. Theme<\/strong> \u2014 Your WPlook theme is already active, so you can skip this step.<\/li>
  6. Payment<\/strong> \u2014 Set up payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal.<\/li>
  7. Shipping<\/strong> \u2014 Configure shipping zones, methods, and rates.<\/li>
  8. Tax<\/strong> \u2014 Enable automated tax calculations or configure manual rates.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Required Pages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    WooCommerce automatically creates these pages during setup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Shop<\/strong> \u2014 Displays all your products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Cart<\/strong> \u2014 Shows items the customer has added to their cart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Checkout<\/strong> \u2014 The payment and order completion page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • My Account<\/strong> \u2014 Customer account management (orders, addresses, downloads).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      You can verify these pages are correctly assigned in WooCommerce \u2192 Settings \u2192 Advanced \u2192 Page Setup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
