You can add new pledges through Pledges<\/strong> \u2192 Add New Pledge<\/strong> in the WordPress Administration Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pledges<\/strong> \u2192 Add New Pledge<\/strong> screen.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Unlike other post types, pledges do not contain most of the same options as standard posts. They support only a few specific fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pledge Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pledge Options are found below the title on the Edit Pledge page. If the Pledge Options are not visible, make sure they are checked inside the Screen Options<\/strong> area at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are adding a new pledge, make sure you have saved the post before editing pledge\u00a0options. Otherwise, the pledge\u00a0options will not be visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose the cause<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Select the cause this pledge will be attributed to from the causes dropdown. The total of pledges to this cause will be displayed alongside the cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transaction ID\/Token<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is the pledge transaction ID. Use a PayPal reference as the transaction ID if the pledge is made using PayPal, or anything else otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First name<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first name of the person making the pledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last name<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The last name of the person making the pledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Country<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The address of the person making the pledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Email<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The email address of the person making the pledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donation Amount<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The amount the person has pledged, in the currency selected in Appearance<\/strong> \u2192 Theme Options<\/strong> \u2192 Payment settings<\/strong> \u2192 Currency Code<\/strong>. Do not enter a currency code in this field, just a number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payment Source<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The source of the donation – either PayPal, cash\/check or manual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payment Status<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Whether the payment has been successfully completed and the money has been collected by your organisation. Can be set to either Completed<\/em>, Refunded<\/em> or Cancelled<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
