You can add new staff members through Staff<\/strong> \u2192 Add New Staff Member<\/strong> in the WordPress Administration Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staff members contain most of the same options as standard posts. You can read about these in the Add New Post chapter<\/a>. Additionally, they contain post options specific to staff members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staff Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Staff\u00a0Options are found below the editor on the Edit Staff Member\u00a0page. If the Staff\u00a0Options are not visible, make sure they are checked inside the\u00a0Screen Options<\/strong>\u00a0area at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are adding a new staff member, make sure you have saved the post before editing staff\u00a0options. Otherwise, the staff\u00a0options will not be visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Header image<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The header image is displayed behind the title at the top of the single project page in the front-end. Select a wide but short image, around 1680px x 275px. Click the +<\/strong> button to upload an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don\u2019t add a header image, the default background color will be displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The position of the staff member within your company. This, and the remaining fields in staff options, will all be displayed on the single staff member page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The phone number of this staff member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Email<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The email address of this staff member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blog URL<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The URL of the staff member’s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social network links<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A list of social icons which will be displayed using icons alongside other information about this staff member. Click the Add New<\/strong> button in order to add a social network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each social network has the following fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Set the Title<\/strong> to anything you want, it will not be displayed on the site.<\/li>
  • The Service Name<\/strong> will be displayed once the user hovers over the social network icon.<\/li>
  • The URL<\/strong> is where the social network icon will link to.<\/li>
  • The Icon<\/strong> can be picked from the list of icons next to the input field.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
