You can add new projects through Portfolio<\/strong> \u2192 Add New Portfolio<\/strong> in the WordPress Administration Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portfolio contains most of the same options as standard posts. You can read about these in the Add New Post chapter. Additionally, they contain post options specific to Portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portfolio Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Portfolio Options are found below the editor on the Edit Portfolio page. If the Portfolio Options are not visible, make sure they are checked inside the Screen Options<\/strong> area at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are adding a new project, make sure you have saved the post before editing Portfolio options. Otherwise, the Portfolio options will not be visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The date denotes when your organization has started work on this project. The start date is displayed in the sidebar on the single portfolio page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Client<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Insert the client’s name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

URL<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Insert the client’s U.RL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gallery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The gallery section is used to create a slideshow of images to be displayed at the top of the post. Click Add New<\/b> to add a new image. You can also click the pencil icon<\/strong> on an existing image to edit it, or the bin icon<\/strong> to delete this image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Title<\/strong>\u00a0is used to help you identify the image, and is not displayed in the front-end.\u00a0The\u00a0Caption<\/strong>\u00a0is the text displayed at the bottom of the image \u2013 you can leave this field empty.\u00a0Finally, the\u00a0Gallery Image<\/strong>\u00a0is the image displayed for this slide. Click\u00a0+<\/strong>\u00a0to select or upload an image.\u00a0The recommended size is 1200px x 800px, but any size will be displayed correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
