In order to access the Customizer go to Appearance<\/strong> \u2192<\/em> Customize<\/strong> from the WordPress Administration Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Site Identity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  • Site Title<\/strong>: This is the website name, it will appear if a logo is not available.
    You can add a logo instead of the Site Title<\/strong> in Appearance<\/strong> \u2192 Theme Options<\/strong>.<\/li>
  • Tagline<\/strong>: This is a short description of your site, which will appear under the logo or site title.<\/li>
  • Site Icon<\/strong>: The site icon is also known as a favicon. It will appear in the address bar, bookmarks bar and will be used by mobile browsers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Colors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    This section allows you to change the website colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Header Text Color<\/strong>: The color of the site title and description.<\/li>
    • Background Color<\/strong>: The color of the site background.<\/li>
    • Link Color<\/strong>: The color of all links, except for menu and footer links.<\/li>
    • Hover Link Color<\/strong>: The hover effect color for links.<\/li>
    • Accent Color<\/strong>: The primary color for the theme, used in places like buttons and the header background.<\/li>
    • Header Color<\/strong>: The color used in the header.<\/li>
    • Footer Color<\/strong>: The color used in the footer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Header Image<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The header image displayed below the menu, on the home page template only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If you want to use the slider like on our demo site, please keep this field blank and go to\u00a0Slides<\/strong> from the WordPress Administration Panelto add or edit the slider content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Background Image<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      This will allow you to add a background image to your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Menus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      This section will allow you to manage navigation menus, such as the main theme navigation in the header. For more information regarding theme menus, please read the Menu<\/strong> chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Widgets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      This section will allow your to manage all widgets areas and to add, remove or edit widgets. For more info regarding the widgets please read the Widgets <\/strong>chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Static Front Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      This section will allow you to select a page to use as the home page template. By default, WordPress displays your latest posts on the home page, but this can be changed to display customizable widget areas. The widget areas can contain your latest posts, past and upcoming events, ministries, causes, sermons, projects, sponsors, or any other widgets available in WordPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To set up a page to use as a home page, go to\u00a0Pages<\/strong>\u00a0\u2192\u00a0Add New<\/strong>\u00a0from the WordPress Administration Panel. You can name this page whatever you like, and any content you enter here will be displayed alongside the widget areas. However, it\u2019s important you set the\u00a0Template\u00a0<\/strong>(under\u00a0Page Attributes<\/strong>)\u00a0to\u00a0Default\u00a0template<\/strong>\u00a0for this to work correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If the\u00a0Page Attributes<\/strong>\u00a0panel is not visible, go to\u00a0Screen Options<\/strong>\u00a0at the top of the screen, and make sure\u00a0Page Attributes<\/strong>\u00a0is enabled under\u00a0Boxes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Using the same method, add another page for your posts, but this time do not set the template to Home page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Next, return to the Customizer<\/strong> \u2192 Static Front Page<\/strong>. Set the Front page<\/strong> to the first page you created, and the Posts page<\/strong> to the latter page you created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
