You can add new departments through Departments<\/strong> \u2192 Add New Department<\/strong> in the WordPress Administration Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Departments contain most of the same options as standard posts. You can read about these in the Add New Post chapter<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Department Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Department Options are found below the editor on the Edit Department page. If the Department Options are not visible, make sure they are checked inside the Screen Options<\/strong> area at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are adding a new department, make sure you have saved the post before editing department options. Otherwise, the department options will not be visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switch On or Off whether to feature this department in the Department’s home page widget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Display in sidebar widget<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
