You can add new documents through Documents<\/strong> \u2192 Add New Document<\/strong> in the WordPress Administration Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documents contain most of the same options as standard posts. You can read about these in the Add New Post chapter<\/a>. Additionally, they contain post options specific to documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Document Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Document Options are found below the editor on the Edit Document page. If the Document Options are not visible, make sure they are checked inside the Screen Options<\/strong> area at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are adding a new document, make sure you have saved the post before editing document\u00a0options. Otherwise, the document\u00a0options will not be visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Header image<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The header image is displayed behind the title at the top of the single document page in the front-end. Select a wide but short image, around 1680px x 275px. Click the +<\/strong> button to upload an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don\u2019t add a header image, the default background color will be displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Publication File<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is where you upload the document. It must have a .pdf<\/code> file extension. Click the +<\/strong> button to add a new file, the –<\/strong> button to remove the file, or the +<\/strong> button, while an existing file is present, to replace it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

File size<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Add the size of this file, in any unit, such as KB or MB, for example 1.45 MB<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Share Buttons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
